“i asked Sarah for help when I was totally stuck. I had found a call for grant applications from Innovate UK, the UK government’s incubator for innovative small businesses. They were offering a £100,000 grant for a business conducting research with an academic on something relating to their business. I knew my business could go to the next level with a better understanding of my customer’s shopping habits, but I had no idea how to start putting together that kind of a proposal. When I explained my issue to Sarah, she immediately saw the first step was finding an academic researcher. After a few hours she had figured out what specific fields of research would relate and sent me a list of several academics in each of those fields, along with their emails. I won the grant and it took my business to the next level, not only because of the helpfulness of the research, but also because it added massively to my credibility and to my belief in myself and my business.”

Sarah Windham
Ethical HR and Operations Specialist
Throughout my career, I have worked for a series of incredible women leaders who have been constantly striving to create organizations that live up to their values. I have been lucky enough to watch them in action, support their work, and provide a sounding board for them to work out solutions to big problems or brainstorm big new ideas.
My consulting practice allows me to support more founders and CEOs build ethically and avoid burnout. Often founders had a vision before they began their business of a fulfilling career outside of the toxic work culture found across corporate, creative, and charity sectors. They started a business so they would no longer have to answer to yelling bosses, only to find that the stress at times turns them into that yelling boss. But it doesn’t have to be that way, you’ve made the right first steps to a more ethical and fulfilling work life. I can help you make take the next steps in an ethical, efficient and enduring way.
